A conveyor (the proper selection of conveyor)can help save you a good deal of precious time and money. Conveyors ~ part of handling systems ~ of one sort or another have been around for hundreds of years, so it's fair to say that the technology is by now, well proven ~ however improvements over recent years have enabled the art of conveying to advance to unprecedented heights!

Our experiences in Materials Handling and Conveyors start in 1965 with the installation of a crate handling system (on-site) at Guinness Export in Liverpool ~ since that time we have been involved with the design, manufacture and installation for all variety of materials and mechanical handling systems throughout the UK and indeed through out the World.

Special projects we have done worth mention include ~

a) Stress Relieving Top Hat Furnace for Cooperheat which at the time needed the largest crane available in North America to lift it on and off its fabricated vessel ~ the Top Hat Furnace stood 85 ft high and had an internal dimension of 40 ft square ~ externally this had a series of gantries and access walkway systems ~ all of which were part of the lifted item.

b) Airbus Wing Assembly System for BAE ~ this comprised two parallel floor hauler conveyor assemblies for RH and LH wing units ~ the full length of each provides the continual production line of 13 wing assemblies all in the same building.

c) Manchester Airport Terminal 3 Baggage Handling Facility from design conception to intalled and running ~ this was part of the M & E handled by Oscar Faber to whom we were responsible for the Baggage Handling.

d) Vast areas of conveyor handling equipment in the original Fords Factory at Halewood ~ followed by continual development in the years of upgrade and production.

e) Vast areas of conveyor handling equipment in the New Triumph Factory at Speke ~ followed by continual development in the years of upgrade and production.

f) Vast areas of conveyor handling equipment in the Vauxhall Factory at Ellesmere Port ~ followed by continual development in the years of upgrade and production.
